In a down to the wire dual at Woodbridge High School this evening, HBHS Oiler Varsity Wrestling Team beat Woodbridge Warriors 39-36!   At the start of the last weight class, 152 lbs with CJ Herrera wrestling, the dual was tied 36-36.  Then CJ went into overtime with a tied score of 8-8, then finally won the match, and the dual for HBHS!

Oilers were tied with Woodbridge in the League standings, but we have now moved into second place in the league with one dual left on Tuesday, November 3rd at Northwood High School.  The top two finishing teams in each league advance to the CIF Team Championships on February 14th in Temecula - looking good Oilers!!!

Varsity wrestlers with wins this evening were Ryan House, Dillon Simmons, Nathaniel Budwig, Dustin Burdette, Derek Burdette, Dustin Higley, and CJ Herrera.  Way to go guys!!!!
