HBHS Varsity and JV Wrestlers competed Saturday at El Toro
High School in the Seaview League Individual Championships,
and the Varisty team has qualified and will advance 9 out of
12 wrestlers to the CIF Individual Championships Feb. 20&21
in Temecula Valley! The top three winners in each weight
class advance to CIF, and they are as follows:
1st Place and League Champion at 103 lbs - Vinnie Le
1st Place and League Champion at 125 lbs - Dustin Burdette
1st Place and League Champion at 130 lbs - Derek Burdette
1st Place and League Champion at 160 lbs - Ryan House
2nd Place and League Runner-up at 112 lbs - Nathaniel Budwig
2nd Place and League Runner-up at 135 lbs - Dustin Higley
2nd Place ad League Runner-up at 140 lbs - Dalton Dougherty
3rd Place and CIF qualifier at 119 lbs - Jeff Perez
4th Place and CIF alternate qualifier at 215 lbs - Alfred

The JV Team crowned three Seaview
League JV Champions this year, and had three placers as

The Varsity team will be competing
Saturday, February 14 in San Jacinto, CA at the CIF Team
Dual Championships, and then varsity individuals will
compete on Feb. 20&21 in Temecula.
